A Disease That We Need To Acknowledge.

“2018 is going to be the year I…” blah blah blah. You lost me in the first word (or number, whatever.)

It always boggles my mind how many talk about going “all in” in 2018, or even a week from now. Why don’t you start? Why don’t you begin now?

If you’re going to talk about accomplish something, begin by taking action now. It’s much easier to talk about the future because the future is uncertain and you can come up with excuses all.

It’s quite aggravating when people talk about wanting something so bad but don’t act on it. They expect to just get it overnight. It’s a disease called entitlement.

Let’s get this straight: you don’t deserve shit. You get what you get. Just because you went to a fancy private college doesn’t mean you get a job out of college. You get a job because you went out got after it. YOU DID SOMETHING.

At the end of the day, mommy and daddy won’t get you a job (or they may, and if that’s the case than cool, whatever.) You may not have control over where you were born, the circumstances you were placed in, or your parents, but you have control over your work ethic. Let that be the determining factor.

Here’s a picture of clouds that look like cotton candy.
